John Keating

John Keating was a charisamtic and energetic English teacher whose methods of learing were very unconventional, fascineting and mostly pretty weird. Often the discussion about him being a good teacher comes up. Questioning whether his ideas were working and actually making students learn something. I believe that mr. Keating was an amazing teacher one, who can rarely see nowdays let alone in the 60s. His methods not necessarerly were teaching students the subject itself but were making them learn it by themselves whilst having developed huge passion towards it, which will surely help in the adult life. His lesson, aside from eduction were source for huge ammounts of entertainment so students are never bored and learn more actively. Seeing all of this I thing mr. Keating was the greatest things that happened to his students and if every teacher was passionate even a bit like him educion in the world would thrive.

Leek lights

In the Netherlands artist Daan Roosegaarde with the help of photobiologists created „light recipe for a field of leeks. He covered over 20 sq metre field in red, blue and UV lights, making quite a view after the sunset. This whole spectale besides being stunning view is helping plants in many ways. The lights help crops grow better by effectively lenghtening sunlight hour. It also help plan get rid off insects or weeds. According to UN estimated global population to feed by 2050 is 9 billion which makes the whole expering possible solution as Wargent says it could be the next great revolution in agriculture. I think the whole things with creating lights over crop field is a great idea not only in agriculture but also in tourism as it not only gives huge benefits towards the plants but also makes quite a view to see.
